Subject:      Converting Daily to Weekly data

I'm sure that this isn't too hard, but I can't figure out how to do
it. I have daily observations that I need to convert to weekly data,
but in a specific way: if the Thursday observation exists, use it; if
absent, use Wednesday's observation; if it too, is absent, then use
Friday's observation.

Any thoughts?
