Heard a singing Ovenbird this morning at Grassy Pond, SW of Lake Park,
about 3 miles from the FL line.
Having not heard any locally before today, suddenly, White-eyed Vireos and
Northern Parulas are here and are indeed "everywhere." Whereas in most
past winters, a few WE Vireos would stay the winter and even sing, this
winter was exceptional in that I heard none. I'm kind of surprised not to
have heard Great-crested Flycatchers this morning, as they normally show
up en masse about this time.
I've also been hearing Yellow-rumped Warblers sing, for about the past 10
days, along with Ruby-crowned Kinglets.
