Subject:   Combine and compare mean and SD
Content-Type:   text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Hi!

1. If I have mean, sample size and standard deviation in differnt groups, can I have combine valuse of mean and SD using SPSS? If yes, How?

2. If I have mean, sample size and SD of differnt group (no raw data), can I know the significant differnce between groups?

I need to compare some results of our study with avialble literature data. I have raw data for my study, but not for other published data.

I have other stat programm where I can do that. Is it OK to combine and compare the data like this?

Thanks

Trivedi RH
