I may have sent the first one out incorrectly...if you got this more than once sorry about that : )
Staffan,
I am unsure of how to center a chart/table, but I figured out how to get rid of the page number. I'm using SPSS 11.5 (not the tables module, but I'm guessing you'll have the same options available).
Once your output comes up click on the print preview icon
Click page setup
Click options
A window will open up with "Header/Footer" in the front and "Options" behind it, put your cursor inside the "Footer" section of the window. Text will appear that reads "Page & [Page]"
Delete that text if you want nothing printed there, or replace it with Sida 1(Sida 2, Sida 3....).
It seems you have to do this for every page you print; it will not automatically number the pages once you delete the "Page & [Page]" line. I even tried typing that back in and it printed it just like that, instead of printing "Page 1". I also tried inserting "Sida & [Sida]", and that did not work either.....but I'm no expert, so there may a more advanced way to do this; I just figured this out by fiddling with it, and I'm glad I did...that page 1 drove me nuts!
You can also change the justification to left/right/center from this window, and if you want the page number at the top, put your cursor inside the header section, instead of footer.
Hope this helps,
Monica Perry
