As far as I know and have tested, I have not found anything but that is a
highly unofficial statement. The largest conern is that SI will not
officially support version 6.12 on XP. I have not heard of any support
policy change from SI so it may still be in effect.

I would also search the archives... in my stressed state I believe
recalling discussions of v6 on XP.
