Albrecht,
If you are refering to the SAS-menu found under help | SAS system help
and the icon is the puple book on the tool bar, this is not actually
connected to the online documentation, this is the SAS online help
feature. There is a hot fix on the SAS website that my help.
If you want to use the SAS online doc, try going through the start
menu | programs | the SAS System | SAS online doc V8
