Apparently the offending attachment is called "at judy's.tif.exe"
(a double extension often indicates a virus.)
Hopefully the listserv screened the attachment out as an unacceptable
file type, but it does appear that the virus distributed itself to
the GABO list from my computer. I'm currently running a virus scan
and it has not found any infected files yet, which may mean the virus
can distribute itself but can't affect Mac files. Jury is still out.
If anyone tries to reply to me I won't get your reply for a while
because I'm waiting until the virus scan is done before receiving any
more e-mail.
