Even variations on a single-token name can be quite plentiful. You perhaps
know that some maladroit folks tend to spell your name with a single 'l'
(okay, okay, mea culpa). One could think 'Dorfman' is not particularly
fruitful (compare it to this (real) surname: Katsenelenbaumbluemanstein);
however, I have seen such variations as
Dorsman
Dortmund
Dorkman
Doorman
Dormant
Doifmint
Torment
Tofman
Toifman
and more aberrations one would never even think of.
