I think John is on the right track -- as I take another look at these, it appears they are all in response to the "Help with PROC TABULATE message".

So maybe these will soon die off of their own accord ... Although I still can't quite understand why a receipt-request on a message to SAS-L would then propagate when the message is subsequently sent from SAS-L to list subscribers.

Just for the last week or so, we have been getting quite a few "Not read" type messages that relate to SAS-L postings. Are others just starting to experience this as well? Has there been some change to the list processing that has caused this?
