Subject: printing to A4 size paper from SAS Viewer?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Ever since the inception of SAS Viewer I've noticed big problems when attempting to print e.g. a SAS data set to ISO A4 paper (standard paper size of 210 x 297 mm in Europe).

As we currently use the SAS System on a Windows 2000 server, I'd like to provide a viewer locally installed on each SAS user's workstation. Last week I installed the latest viewer from www.sas.com to my own workstation, but I still can't get a data set to print properly. Printing from a SAS session on the server and the single local SAS installation (my workstation) works fine, so the problem is with the viewer, IMO. As long as printing doesn't work right, I feel I shouldn't offer this product to our users at all.

I assume other European users who have tried the Viewer are familiar with the printing problem, so I won't describe it in more detail.

Is there a way around it? (A search of the SAS site has revealed nothing so far.)
