Subject: 2 Problems when importing a Chinese text file.

Dear all,

I met 2 problems when importing a Chinese text file:

1) The double-byte delimiter can't be recognised properly. It's treated as 2 single-byte characters. and the option "DSD" is useless.

2) Every double-byte character is treated as 2 single-byte characters. Sometimes one of those "single-byte characters" can be a unreal "EOF", it makes SAS stops the data import.

Does anybody know how to solve it? I'm using SAS 8.2 Chinese (Simplified) Edition.

Thanks! Devel
