Subject: contrasts in JMP?

I have a course project in which students have to test and explain the pattern of effects among factors in a 3-way design, with two quanitative factors.

I show them how to do this in SAS, using CONTRAST statements, and provide macros, %poly for polynomial contrasts, and %inter for polynomial interactions (lin x lin, lin x quad, quad x lin, etc.)

This year, I've started providing JMPIN for students who cannot get SAS at home, and want to use JMPIN instead.

They can do most things, but we cannot figure out how they can test trend or other contrasts in JMP

-Michael
