Subject: Call For Help From The SAS Community: Finding Meaning in a Lost
              Life (Chase Cringely)
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Chase Cringely, the infant son Robert Cringely spoke fondly of at SUGI, has sadly died, a victim of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

Trying to find meaning in Chase's death, Cringely is seeking to revive interest in SIDS research, and has put out a call for help from hardware engineers, software engineers, and people experienced with biomedical sensors and sifting mountains of data.

And that's where some of you SAS folks (and/or your colleagues) come in.

Bob is urging all who can help out in any way to contact him.

His e-mail address is bob@cringely.com - more information can be found at http://www.pbs.org/cringely/pulpit/pulpit20020425.html.

Thanks!
