Subject:      job (NY,
              NY) Recruiter - SAS programmer with good quantative skills.
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Large money management / investment bank is seeking someone with very strong quant. and technical skills. This person has least 2 years of SAS experience and strong quantatative skills. There is less concern about their product or market knowledge. The successful candidate will receive training in international equities.

This position is in the International Equities Research group. This position would be a stepping stone to a research analyst job in the future. Strong modelling and analytical skills are critical.

The manager has specifically told me that candidates with strong statistical/biostatistical backgrounds are a good fit if the person has a strong desire to learn this business.

Qualified candidates should have:

strong technical skills, esp. in SAS - minimum 2 years; strong quantitative skills; degree in a quantitative discipline, i.e. math, statistics, engineering, econometrics;

Should have a strong academic background (high g.p.a.)

The client prefers to not relocate anyone, nor will they consider sponsoring a work visa at this time.

Salary is in the low six figures, with strong bonus potential.

All resumes and inquiries will be treated with complete confidentiality.
