If I remember my SAS-L readings right, SAS started splitting parts of its base package off and selling them separately. Could this account for the increase in revenue? Hardly sustainable!

I agree with the 2nd article in that SAS needs more exposure inside of customers' sites so more of a customer's internal people use it.

I really like using SAS and am able (sometimes with the help of the wonderful people in SAS-L) to do more than some of the other archaic tools they have at my company.
