Ouch! I didn't really look that closely. Just figured I didn't know one
slug from another and moved on. Was there a shell? Of course there is a
nerite cousin with no shell - but I have no idea what it looks like, sorry.

Her other shell is Cyclocardia (Venericardia) borealis (Conrad) (family
Carditidae).
Dave's "slug" looks suspiciously like a nerite to me. But what do I
