Dear Ray and Others,

I spoke a bit hastily concerning this new SAS site. Once I visited and started my search for where I could find SAS on the site - I decided this was not something the SAS community wanted or needed at this time.

So, I guess I have to settle on another 7 years of SCONSIG.com or David Ward's SASHELP.com, even if I have to cut my salary in half from the site (heck, what is 1/2 of zero?) to make continue.

Or maybe, the BIG Guy at SI (you know who I mean, right?) might be real generous and decide to buy SCONSIG.com for some real money! Say $40K (sounds like the cost of most SAS products at the midtier level, <grin>).

So, I apologize if I put the fear of God into you Good Folks by inferring I would be giving up SCONSIG.com - boy, you should have seen my wife jump, hollar, scream for joy at the thought of me giving it up <VBG>!

Back to NOTEPAD and writing up some more HTML SAS related web pages!

PS - I just posted a MISSING CHILD Picture on the main page of http://www.sconsig.com - and thought if each of you could just read it, copy the picture and send it out to a few selected friends, that maybe we could make a difference in this father's life and come to aid him in his plea. And if this happens to be a hoax that someone passed on to me - so be it - I'd rather be helpful and CONNED then to turn my head and ignore a cry for help.

Kind Regards, Charles Patridge Email: Charles_S_Patridge@prodigy.net
