Maybe - or it could be a typo! Also, I'm not sure that anyone has ever
said that version 9 will not necessarily _run_ on, say, Win98 - it may be
more of a question of it not being 'supported'. It is therefore possible
that bugs affecting only 'unsupported' platforms would not be addressed -
but that fixes necessary for other platforms might (usually would, I
imagine, if it would run on thsoe platforms at all) also 'fix' the problem
in 'unsupported' platforms ... but that's all wild conjecture.
This is where we have to hope that some birdies are around!
