Subject: Yodeling Geese?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

One of my bosses knows me as "Bird Woman!" She takes great pleasure in describing birds she's seen that she doesn't recognize and is starting to take a very active interest in learning more. She loves feeding them with her two young daughters. I've really enjoyed helping where I can.

Yesterday afternoon, I got a breathless phone call from her (she often works from home) telling me of several "Vs" of "giant, yodeling geese" flying over her home in Conyers. What a terrific description! She went on to describe how the Vs were breaking into circling patterns and asked why. I got a terrific play-by-play, and could easily visualize what she was seeing.

You know, these Sandhills could be such an eye-opener to so many...if they'd just look up!
