Thanks to David Ward, Gerhard Hellriegel and Amy Swinford it was easy to build a prototype for an application that reads widget attributes, generates SAS code (for a macro invocation) and lets you indicate whether to run the code from the Preview window (the alternative being: copy/paste it from the Preview window into your Enhanced Editor that already contains other code gathered in a project). This way the application is not entirely dependent upon the Windows environment.
