Is the file that fails to export of similar size than the others? Are there more than 65,536 rows to export( Excel's magic limit)?

Hi,

I am cleaning some dirty, dirty data and to have a quick look across my variables (changes and enhancements) I export the preliminary results into EXCEL using PROC EXPORT. Everything works fine for saying 10-15 runs. After that SAS is reporting a successful transfer, but the file in EXCEL, instead of having 20000KB has only 6 and opening it would close Excel for good. Any idea will keep the rising tsunami off shore...

Cornel
