What SAS refers to publicly as 8.2 is, apparently, technically within the software 8.02. Version 8.2 is also referred to as 8e.

OK, thanks to everyone for their help about upgrading to v8.2. We are now (allegedly) upgraded. HOWEVER, "About SAS" on the Help tab says "Release 8.02". What is 8.02? Is this just a typo? How can I tell what version I am actually running? I can find no reference to version 8.02 on the SAS Tech support site.
