Subject: Simple test question!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1
Hello everybody!
Ok, now I know how to test the restrictions:
proc reg data=old;
model prof=i1-it187 s1-s187;
test i1/(1-s1)=i2/(1-s2), i1/(1-s1)=i3/(1-s3),
i1/(1-s1)=i4/(1-s4),....,i187/(1-s187);
run;
now my questions are:
1. is there a more simple way to write ther restrictions? something
like:
test i1/(1-s1)=i2-i187/(1-s2-s187)
would this work, probably not. But then how else?
2. Do I have in i1-i187 really the intercepts?
In the SAS/STAT User's Guide V6 it is written:
"The keyword INTERCEP can be used instead of a variable name to refer to
the model's intercept."
But if I have more (equations and also more) intercepts, how do I write
this???
Please help me with this last question! Please!
Thanks,
Adelina.
