Looking in the documentation, I don't see anything about that.
That would be nice to have such a capability. I figured that since SI didn't
do it, it was because you could do it in the data step instead of the proc
export...

Objet : Ordering variables
In PROC EXPORT or in PROC DBLOAD is there anyway we
could specify the order of the variables to be
displayed in the EXCEL file we are exporting to.
I know how to do it in SAS when creating the dataset,
using RETAIN statement before SET statement, but I
would like to know if there is any option available in
those procedures to order the SAS variables when the
data is exported to EXCEL.
