I had the same problem - I don't remember if it was that file, but it was some uwu DLL file. I got around the problem by turning off the McAfee product during installation. I haven't encountered any problems with SAS running with the "damaged" file, although of course it's possible that I just haven't happened to execute it.
I used to have the McAfee product at home, but abandoned it in favor of a product with better technical support and a better feature set. You might say I paid to get rid of it.

I recently purchased a subscription to McAfee online scan. After installing
the software I ran my first scan, and it hung at:
> c:\Program Files\SAS Institute\SAS\V8\core\sasexe\uwumargr.dll
Anyone have similar problems using SAS 8.2 with McAfee online?
McAfee advised me to upgrade to IE5.5, which I did, and which had no effect.
Here's what support had to say about running scan on this file:
> if you mean scan as in a mcafee online scan of your hard drive
> the file uwumargr.dll is damaged and has toi be replaced by sas institute
Could someone point me to the 'fixed' uwumargr.dll?
