I have been seeing a couple of mockingbirds flying around the house. Today I saw a smaller one with the parent flying around near it. My grandmother saw about 10 jun. cardinals at the bird feeder this morning. I've had a bright red male poking around the area below the suet feeder for the past couple of days - - climbing on the large (100lbs+) granite rock, hopping off it and onto the flower bed, and then flying back to do it all again. Not sure what he's doing but it looks awful cute. :>) Saw 2 brown thrashers near one of the magnolia trees we have in the backyard.

Have a good weekend, Elizabeth Douglasville, Douglas County, GA
