Thanks to Mike, Don, Ravi and Sig for your valuable tips on SAS/Intrnet. At this point we are inclined to go with the MDDB report viewer, and not Appdev studio. From your tips, I am still unclear where the SAS/Intrnet should be installed - Web (NT) server or the Unix server where the data resides. Don and Ravi think Unix is a better choice, while Sig would go with the NT. The MDDBs we have are pretty large, about 3 to 4 million obs. Putting SAS/Intrnet on the NT would certainly be a cheaper option, but we would probably have to install SAS on the machine too. And, as Don pointed out, it will have to stream the output back to the browser. We will just have to figure this one out. Again, thanks for your advice - I really learnt a lot in this discussion.

Jit
