Now we're really speculating. But, as long as we are, what new
capabilities would justify the label of version 9? Version 7
was a beta for version 8, in which SAS introduced a host of
new features (support for long names, ODS, more). What major
innovations would bump the major version level up again? Or,
would it be because SI is going public and they need to start
versioning like MicroSoft?
