Subject: Insufficient space in file error
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

I am running SAS 6.12 on an AIX machine (Version 4.3) and get the following error when the dataset being created gets to 1.07 gigabytes.

From the SAS log file:

ERROR: Insufficient space in file LIBNAME.DATASET_NAME.DATA.^MERROR: Insufficient space in file LIBNAME.DATASET_NAME.DATA.^MERROR: Insufficient space in file LIBNAME.DATASET_NAME.DATA. ERROR: Write to LIBNAME.DATASET_NAME.DATA failed. File is full and may be damaged.^MERR OR: Write to LIBNAME.DATASET_NAME.DATA failed. File is full and may be damaged.^MERROR: Write to LIBNAME.DATASET_NAME.DATA failed. File is full and may be damaged.

Is this a system problem or a SAS problem? The operating system file size is set to unlimited.

Your thoughts or comments greatly appreciated. TIA
