Hello Gary,

With regard to your question on GraphExpress, there are free evaluation copies available on CD and they are apparently fully functional but time limited to 30 days. They can be obtained from SPSS Inc. or and of their local offices/business partners (details can be found on their website (www.spssscience.com/talk/ <http://www.spssscience.com/talk/> ). There are also two demos on the site (www.spssscience.com/GraphExpress/index.html <http://www.spssscience.com/GraphExpress/index.html> ) . One is an archived copy of a seminar they conducted on the web (this is essentially a slide show of screen shots with a voice over, and requires the RealPlayer8 Basic plugin to run). The other is a flash demonstration (which requires Flash 4 to run). In the UK members can get details from SPSS Science Software UK Ltd. (www.spss-science.co.uk <http://www.spss-science.co.uk> ).

It does appear to be a very easy way of creating publication-quality graphs (using point and click buttons instead of commands, which are produced automatically as well) for SAS users with Windows version 8.

Regards

Tony Clewett
