This morning at 4 am a Great Horned Owl was calling in very close proximity. (Male?) At 6 am two Great Horned Owls were calling, also nearby. (Male and female) At 6:30 am one Owl was calling. (Male?)

About 8 am a Piliated Woodpecker was "laughing" in the Southern Magnolia in the yard. (I was nearby and the bird must have seen me, but it kept calling and did not fly away.)

Parrie Pinyan Canton, GA
