JMP is used for data exploration, design of experiments, quality control,
qualitative analysis, statistical modeling, and lots of other stuff.
It is used widely in the manufacturing industry to design experiments,
process control, and statistical analysis in wafer processing.
The is plenty of information on the http://www.jmpdiscovery.com site.
