Subject:      DBMS engine and SAS v8 on Unix?

Our workplace has just upgraded from SAS v6.12 to v8.0 on our Unix
system.  We had DBMS engine v 5.1 to convert SAS to SPSS portable
files.  It is no longer compatible.  Does the v7 DBMS engine (not
DBMS/copy) work with SASv8.  The Website at Conceptual seems a bit
ambigous, and only mentions it working with the Windows  SAS v8.  The
blurb on DBMS engine for Unix still refers to SAS 6.12.
