Anthony,
I completely agree with you that you have to read the manuals.
Thank you for your courteous reply.

My humble apologies if I was too blunt, but I think I was steering them in
the right direction. I do not think one can learn about all those keywords
in that particular code without reading the manual and/or online help or at
least a good BBU (book by user). I have personally learnt a lot from this
list but also had and still have to read the manuals.

James,
With all due respect, I must disagree with you. To me,
Anthony's response
was positive, at least indirectly. I was thinking RTFM
because the
questions were soooo basic. Yet Anthony's response (with a
little
tongue-in-cheek) was accurate, positive (imho), and civil.
For TRULY disappointing, though humorous, responses, I
recommend searching
the sas-l archives for posts by David Pider.

Anthony,
This is one of the most dissapointing responses that I have
seen on SAS-L.
If you don't have something positive to contribute may I
suggest that you
don't contribute at all.
I would commend Mark Terjeson for his response, and note
that it is a stark
contrast to yours.

Foster Kerrison.

My my my....looks like you'll have to hit the manuals hard
(especially the
one called SAS Language Reference) and look for all those
keywords!!!!
