August 19, 2000 One roseate spoonbill seen at airport pond on shoulder of Newton Road just north of the Albany airport. The bird was seen with wood storks and a group of mixed herons. The water level at the pond is very low. Without rain, the pond may be dry within a few days. Bird was first seen by Mike Keenan and Alan Ashley.
