VIROPHARMA INCORPORATED has an opening for a full-time clinical statistician
to assist with the design and analysis of Phase II & III clinical studies in
support of regulatory submissions.  Working with a project team involving
clinical and medical writing staff, responsibilities include: provide
statistical input into clinical trial design, review protocols and CRFs;
write statistical analysis plans; design, develop and verify SAS programs
for analysis of clinical study data, provide interpretation of results, and
review clinical study reports and other publications.
Candidates must have an M.Sc. or Ph.D. in statistics, biometrics, or other
relevant field, and at least three years relevant experience in the
pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge base should include a wide range of
statistical procedures and very good analytical skills using SAS. Excellent
communication, teamwork and time management skills are also required.
