Subject:      SAS/CONNECT
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

Hello, I am trying to get a dataset from UNIX to Windows using SAS/CONNECT. I am using the TCPUNIX.SCR supplied by SAS to make the connection. The program seems to work if I run it on a PC that has version 6.12, but when I run it using version 8 I get this error;

ERROR: A communication subsystem partner link setup request failure has occurred. ERROR: connect call failed, system error is '10060 - WSAETIMEDOUT'. ERROR: Remote signon to SVCAW37 cancelled.

Anyone seen this error before. I can't seem to find any documentation on the SAS site.

Thanks for any help, Tim Weeks Programmer/Developer Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC
