Arising from some discussion with my fellow travellers last wek:

Scoring of presentations at SEUGI involved marking a number of criteria in ranges from bad to very good. The criteria included one on 'innovative use of the SAS System'.

Since this criterion will favour new applications, does anyone have any strong feelings either way regarding sound presentations on existing techniques well applied being disadvantaged in their scoring?

I'll share a summary of private replies to the list at the end of the week.
