Subject: mdy function

Playing around with all possibilities, I tried the mdy function and discovered that ...

creating a SAS date value for January 2, 1600 works January 1, 1600 does not work.

I used WEEKDATE18. to display the SAS date value. Instead of an explicit day, I got an explicit month. Hence, two months and a year.

I post this out of curiosity - not urgent.
