SAS programmer * Analyst II: $44,000 - $50,000 (starting salary)

Requirements: · Two years SAS programming experience including, but not limited to SQL, Macro, Data Step, and AF · Knowledge of Health data structures, Two years health insurance experience preferred · Proficient in Excel and Word, Access a plus · Bachelors Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or related field · Experience with Oracle a plus

Abstract of Position: The Actuarial department is looking for an experienced SAS programmer and analyst with experience in the health field. Duties will include maintaining a data warehouse for reporting, and creating ad-hoc reports to analyze trend, look for fraud, and perform audits on system configuration. Gathering data from multiple operating systems will be a part of the data warehouse maintenance. Good communication skills will be essential, as the analyst will be working with members of multiple departments. The analyst will report to the department head.
