Precisely my point, Michael. I wrote that because Faith Sloan had
harped on just this issue [for just a couple seconds] in her talk
at SUGI 25.
And, of course, CGI can even be implemented using non-languages.
I've seen CGI scripts which were just unix shell scripts. <shudder>
