THE HOUSE LEADERSHIP HAS SCHEDULED CARA (HR 701) FOR A FLOOR VOTE EARLY NEXT WEEK (MOST LIKELY NEXT TUES OR WED) !!!!!

Congratulations everyone! All of your efforts in the Countdown to CARA campaign have finally paid off! We have A LOT of work to do between now and then. Expect to receive many emails from us over the next week. NOW is the time to get your email and phone tree lists operational -- we will need up-to-the-minute timely responses from the coalition.

When CARA goes to the House floor, there will be several votes on rules, amendments -- some good and some bad. The property rights advocates are going to do whatever they can to damage CARA so that it won't pass the final House vote. We must stop those damaging amendments from happening. Be prepared to stand at the ready for our Action emails when we find out about amendments -- pass them along to ALL of your email lists -- friends, family and colleagues.
