The new SAS enhanced editor almost certainly uses RTF (Rich Text Format) to present the source code in it's edit windows.

You you want plain vanilla text when you paste you can do a couple of tricks.

- In word, instead of Edit/Paste, use Edit/Paste Special:Paste As Unformatted Text. - Do an edit paste into an editor, like Notepad, that does not understand RTF Copy from there and finally paste into Word.
