Hello to you all...

I'm stuck. Here's the situation.

What we have right now: 1 UNIX server (200 Gb) with SAS 6.12 (production) and SAS 8.0 (testing). Unix interface software for WINDOWS 9x and NT

What I'm getting to: 1 UNIX Server (same as above) with SAS/CONNECT SAS / ECO (BASE,CONNECT,FSP,AF,ASSIST, etc.) for 10 Windows PC

What I would like to do in the future:

(all this using a web browser if possible) Having user drill down into hierarchies of data; Let the user interrogate the data whitout having to learn SAS; To have a "tableau de bord" or corporate dash board for Decision Support; etc.

On one side, there is the cost of putting SAS/ECO on all the management desk, the other paying I don't know how much yet to have SAS/INTRNet stuff.

Honestly, I'm lost. We don't have millions to spend on this. What would be the most economical way of having the necessary tools to do the job. Nice is cute (and $$$$), economical is better.

Waiting for any (all) honest answer. I trust you all.

-- Sincerely yours,
