And furthermore...

Dear Conchlers,

to complete our discussion about these two genera, I want to tell you that Gert Lindner (also member on conch-l) keeps both genera in his book Muscheln und Schnecken der Weltmeere, BLV (in German, but great and important for all collectors, even they don't understand German) a small nice book with nearly all families and a very high levelled overview through the marin families) under Fam. Coralliophilidae. Latiaxis Swainson, 1840

Babelomurex Coen, 1922 (syn. Langfordia Dall, 1924; Tolema Iredale, 1929)

Coralliophila H. & A. Adams, 1853 (syn. Latiromurex Coen, 1922; Lepadomurex Coen, 1922; Pseudomurex Monterosato, 1872)

Instead the: Checklist delle specie della fauna italiana a cura di A. Minelli, S. Ruffo, S. La Posta parte: Gastrapoda Opistobranchia di Daniele Bedulli et al. is keeping both genera under Fam. Muricidae and doesn't have Coralliophilidae

hope this helps for the moment

with best latiaxid greetings your Helmurex from Innsbruck
