Prasad, I don't think you can zip it through SAS, but you can download a "freebie" WinZip (www.winzip.com) and it will compress that file. Now, if you use the compress option (compress=yes) with SAS, you might get a smaller file, and then winzip that file, although I don't know that the file would really be much smaller, since it's already compressed. Try it out both ways and see which is the smaller file. Pat
