Is there a way you can publisch these enhancements to EIS on the internet,
or send them by e-mail. I'd love to try some of them.
Greetings,
Bas

There is some starter information in the Solutions at Work series.
Otherwise we have found that the best source is SAS once you get past
level-1 support. Too bad there isn't some easy way to collaborate on
enhancements since, while the Viewer is a fine idea, it has many many
weaknesses such that I'm now looking at alternatives to SAS. I have
already made several enhancements including the following which I believe
should have been part of the product:
1. Max collapse and max drill-up to quickly return to initial display
state.
2. Remove 'all' subsets.
3. Display drilldown and subset values in the title.
4. Export to Excel easily and in a way the users expect to see it
(wysiwug).
5. Expand Level/ Collapse Level which expands 'every' cell in a column.
6. Print drilldown and subset values.
7. Investigated ways to improve traffic lighting and calculated columns;
neither of which work as advertised, and which any attempt to change
multiplies response time because these are handled on a cell-by-cell basis
at each screen refresh and not at the meta level.
E-mail privately if you have collaboration ideas.
