I V6, I used a SAS-supplied routine ("sasmult" or "multf" or some such -
it was an assembly routine which I set up for gen'l use). One problem our
systems folks found with this was that coding
SPACE=(whatever),UNIT=(disk,3)
gave you _whatever_ on _each_ of 3 disks. We got the folks who needed
lots of space to ask for only 2 disks (as they'd get the whole things). I
hope the current version will provide a total of _whatever_ on _all_ 3
(but a quick check shows WORK -at least- can span vols). --Joe
