Here in North Iowa I watched the eclipes until it was all a reddish brown. The shadow covered the moon completely at about 10:05 p.m. Central Daylight Time. I, too, howled at the moon, but I only succeeded in scaring the cats and starting the dogs at the neighbor's farm a howlin'! I will have to let the dogs scare the monster away though, it is only 5 degrees and dropping outside, so I came in. The eclipes is awesome! It's the first I have ever seen.
