I would be interested in hearing experiences (good or bad) from anyone who has used SAS Access to DB2.

With regards to the processing of data, am I correct in assuming that there are basically two ways to process these data; 1) Pass-through SQL where the processing takes place in DB2; and 2) DB2 Libname statement (V7) where DB2 acts like a file server and SAS processes the information locally.

Any information is appreciated!
